Melvin "Butch" Hollowell said Mayor-elect Mary Sheffield's transition team would be the "most community-driven" in Detroit's history.
Detroit residents have their final chance today to vote for the successor to longtime Mayor Mike Duggan. The three-term mayor opted to not run again and instead is campaigning as an independent for governor of Michigan.
