Dame Judi Dench has spoken about Harvey Weinstein in the context of "forgiveness" following his rape and sexual assault convictions.

Harvey is now in prison after he was sentenced to 23 years for rape and sexual assault in New York in 2020. In a separate case in Los Angeles, Harvey was sentenced to an additional 16 years after he was found guilty of rape and sexual assault in December 2022.

The revered English actor said Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by over 100 women, was never inappropriate with her.
