Authorities began installing fencing and cameras around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool as President Donald Trump alleges vandals have been destroying the administration’s multimillion-dollar renovations at the site.

President Donald Trump says six people have been arrested for damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which Trump recently ordered to be painted what he calls “American Flag Blue.”

But since the site was restored, its water has been plagued by an algae bloom and pieces of the new coating have appeared to be peeling off the bottom.
