A look at arrivals and departures from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Friday afternoon showed several delays and a few cancellations as a mandated reduction in flights began its first day.

Alaska told SFGATE it has decided to cut flights from its most popular routes, but declined to comment on how the flight disruptions would directly impact passengers at SFO.
