Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer singled out his team’s biggest problem following a surprising loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night.

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Cowboys could be gearing up for something by Tuesday ahead of the NFL Trade Deadline.

All it took for the Arizona Cardinals to get back into the win column was a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

“With the Cowboys trailing by 10, wide receiver George Pickens made a first-down reception to the Cowboys’ 48-yard line,” described Dallas Morning News Cowboys correspondent Calvin Watkins. “Instead of Pickens tossing the ball to one of the officials or laying the ball down, he pointed the ball into the face of defender Denzel Burke.”

George Pickens and the Dallas Cowboys dropped their second straight game, falling to 3-5-1 on the 2025 NFL season after a 27-17 loss at home against Jacoby Brissett and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9's edition of "Monday Night Football." Despite the offense's disappointing outing, Pickens still had a solid night, tallying six catches for 79 yards.
