Week 9 of the NFL and Fantasy season is already here and fantasy managers are doing everything they can to secure the wins needed to advance to their league playoffs.

Week 8 of the NFL season is underway.

Six teams that had Week 8 off return to action in Week 9, and even with four others heading into a bye this week, the Nov. 2 slate will have one more game than the schedule one week earlier.

The Wildcats are coming off a 42-17 beatdown of rival Kansas, extending their Sunflower Showdown winning streak to 17 games.

Perhaps to the surprise of some, the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, who are both 6-2 and atop their respective divisions with second-year quarterbacks at the helm, enter Week 9 with the longest active winning streaks in the NFL.
