奈良美智 13 歲時收到第一台相機，長年以來始終透過鏡頭觀察，並在 2002 年正式發表攝影作品。此次展出的新作，以台灣、北海道與庫頁島為主題，呈現他在畫筆之外的，另外一面。 談到展覽中的攝影作品，奈良美智直言，這些影像並非為了展覽而拍，而是他在日常中所記錄的感性的、紀念性的片段，都自然地留在畫面之中。他更希望觀眾看到的，是透過他視線所定格下來的世界，而非某種被設計過，或是十分刻意的風景照。
