The newest staff cadets of the Royal Military College have completed their initial training with a four day field exercise at the Majura Training Area in Canberra. Exercise First Contact was the cadets' first exposure to field training in a tactical environment and saw them conduct section attacks, mine incident drills and obstacle crossings. The initial training takes 45 days and trains cadets in basic soldier skills. After 18 months at RMC they graduate as Australian Army officers. #GoodSoldie
